Anything can go wrong. We’re here to put it right. For the individual motorist, Lantern can put together a bespoke service depending on your needs and how much or far you travel. For all our customers we offer a simple, straightforward pay-on-use service.
The main thing you want to know is that if you break down, you can call a number that puts you directly through to our main operations centre. We’re always on hand, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We have a huge, nationwide network of dependable breakdown and recovery agents, windscreen repairers, locksmiths and replacement vehicles as well as a range of other specialist emergency services. It’s just a question of ascertaining what you need and how best to get those services to you.
Roadside Assistance
We understand how stressful it is when you have broken down, our on-hand 24/7 customer support team will be there to assist you quickly and efficiently.
The ETA’s we work towards are our main priority when assisting you with your breakdown, whilst keeping you updated every step of the way. All our services are fully equipped with all the most elite equipment and compressors. our light vans are also equipped with RDT units to recover you out of difficult situations.
Onsite Servicing
Lantern Recovery have a team of experienced and qualified technicians who operate from mobile locations all over the UK carrying out guaranteed service work on all makes of cars and commercial vehicles. Each of our mobile engineers are equipped to undertake all repairs, from the replacement of bulbs and batteries to replacement of clutches, gearboxes to managing your servicing schedules.
Servicing and/or repairs can be carried out at a location to suit you or your schedule, allowing flexibility so that the disruption will be minimal. You will only be without your vehicle for the time it takes our technician to complete the job. It is always our aim to use the same technician to ensure continuity of work.
Covered Transportation
LRS have the privilege of working with some of the UK’s prestige car manufacturers delivering a first class, businesses and customers alike.
The movement of cherished, antique and high value vehicles, prototype vehicles, and vehicles in image damaging conditions can be carried out using one of Lantern’s covered vehicles. Confidentiality is assured for those ‘special’ vehicle movements.
Multi-load
Our highly experienced technicians deliver a 24 hour service to some of the UK’s largest companies, from auction houses to car manufacturers.
Our multi-car carriers carry both car and commercial vehicles, holding up to 12 cars or 5 tractor units at any one time.

Plant Movements
Our modern fleet of heavy plant transporters are built to carry up to 100 ton. We specialise in the movement of heavy machinery using low loaders and flat beds fully equipped with heavy cranes.
The majority of these vehicles are mainly pre-booked for our long-standing customers, however, can be used for emergency 24 hour cover 7 days a week. This service is for nationwide & Europe.
Vehicle Sales/Hire
Our sister company, Worldwide Recovery Systems, offers an extensive range of new builds and used vehicles. Established in 1966, Worldwide Recovery Systems have been building specialist recovery and tow trucks for over 40 years.
