Trollybus returns after 50 years away

Lantern assist in the return of trollybus’s to Fulwell depot in May 2012
The Open Day was to commemorate 50 years since the end of trolleybus operation in London, and 1521 was the guest of honour, having been the last trolleybus into Fulwell Depot in the early hours of 9th May 1962. Specially chosen for that very duty, she carried commemorative blinds, posters, and a cameo of the Queen; these have been replicated in preservation.
